Andrew Abrahams – “You Gotta Wanna”
Andrew Abrahams is an inspirational speaker, a current world record rower, a solo ocean rower, and has helped raise nearly 5 million dollars for children’s cancer research. Andrew is also a father of three boys.
Andrews 4th Great Grandfather was Abel Seaman Owen Cavanough, who rowed Governor Phillip ashore from the First Fleet. He is recorded in history as being the first person from the First Fleet to step foot on Australian soil.
Adventure4acure was founded by Andrew and is 4 great adventures he wished to undertake to raise much needed funds and help disadvantaged children and their families.
Andrew is the Current World Record Holder of 1 Million meters on a Concept 2 Rowing Machine, in 119hrs 50mins 06secs, completed in May 22-27th 2012, at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show
* He was the President of Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride 1999-2004.
* Winner – Solo Class Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2013, rowing 5219.3klms from Canary Islands to Antigua
* Currently looking at 2 more adventures to undertake to raise funds for charity.
